Learn More About Me
I’m Scott Tejerian, an intuitive guide who uses the language of Astrology and Human Design to help you navigate life’s complexities. My mission is to empower you, just as I empowered myself in 2016, during a profound reimagining of my life amidst my midlife Neptune Square Neptune crisis.
A Prayer on the Bathroom Floor
There was a moment, curled up in the fetal position on a bathroom floor, when I felt I had ruined my life. For 20 years, I had struggled as an aspiring screenwriter, pouring my heart into a dream that never materialized. I was miserable and unfulfilled, waiting tables in a restaurant—a far cry from the life I had envisioned.
In that moment of desperation, I prayed to God, asking for a path that would meet three essential criteria: something I loved, something that helped people, and something that could support me abundantly.
Two months later, the unexpected arrived.
The Deaf'un and a Cosmic Clue
I had been working on a screenplay called The Deaf'un, based on James L. Burke, a 19th-century boxer known for his brutal 99-round fight that ended fatally for his opponent. Immersed in research, I pored over volumes of The Pugilistica, deciphering 200-year-old English to better understand these fighters. Still, I craved something deeper—insight into their Souls.
Then I realized: the book included their birth dates. What if I used Astrology to uncover who they really were?
Skeptical but curious, I began pulling up charts. And I was stunned. The planetary alignments matched the personalities and struggles of these men with eerie precision. It was a cosmic revelation.
My Astrological Awakening
My fascination with Astrology had actually begun years earlier at UC Santa Barbara, when a woman at a noisy bar asked me, "What’s your sign?" That moment stuck with me. But it wasn’t until two decades later, while reflecting on patterns in my past relationships, that I began to understand Astrology’s deeper wisdom.
In 2016, I sat at my kitchen table and looked at my own chart. I already knew my Sun, Moon, and Rising Signs, but this time I dug deeper. The chart didn't just describe my public persona—it illuminated my inner world. It was as if the Universe was speaking directly to me.
From Waiting Tables to Reading Charts
Astrology became the most compelling puzzle of my life. I started reading every chart I could—friends, family, public figures. As I did, something magical happened: I began to heal.
The regrets, disappointments, and frustrations I had carried for years started to dissolve. The more I understood the planetary influences in my life, the more compassion I had for myself. My failures began to feel purposeful. My challenges, divinely orchestrated.
I realized I wasn't meant to be a screenwriter. I was meant to be an astrologer. The art classes I had taken helped me draw charts. The writing classes helped me tell their stories. And the acting classes taught me how to engage and inspire clients.
Even my job as a waiter transformed. The flexible hours gave me time to study, and my co-workers became an astrology lab. I began to see how the stars shape us—from body to Soul.
The Work I Do Today
I’m completely self-taught. I read constantly. I practiced obsessively. Within a year, I was giving readings. Within two years, I was getting paid. By year three, astrology had become my full-time work.
Since then, I’ve given thousands of readings and recorded hundreds of podcast episodes. My work is focused on one thing: helping you understand, accept, and love yourself—just as I did through astrology.
Recently, I’ve also begun incorporating Human Design into my readings. I’m not an expert yet, but I find that its insights beautifully complement astrology. Together, they offer a deeper translation of each client's unique energy.
This is the work I prayed for: work I love, that helps people, and supports me in return. And if you’re reading this, maybe it’s the work you were meant to find, too.
